Be aware that you should not just settle with finding a positive EV play, you should always aim to find the play with the highest EV play.

Furthermore sometimes, the goal is to minimize the damage - which means that when a situation is unavoidable, our aim is to find the least negative EV play possible. For instance it is very hard to generate a profit from the BB. But ... we can aim to find the play, where we lose the least from this position.
